This book is the collection of the lectures that were delivered at the Lowell Institute in Boston in November and December, 1906, and in January, 1907, at Columbia University, in New York. In this work, the author focuses on his belief in pragmatism, which is considered to be the ability to foresee practical consequences or real effects as vital components of meaning as well as truth.
